Souderton Staff

Jacki:

Hello!  My name is Jacki Jay and I am pleased to be the Director here at All My Children Learning Center!  I have over 20 years of experience working in the early childhood educational field as a teacher, director, trainer and education advocate.

I attended the University of North Carolina where I received my BS in Elementary Education, Gwynedd Mercy University where I received my Master’s in Early Childhood Educational Management and finally, I obtained my Doctorate in Early Childhood Cognitive Behavioral Development.   In addition, I am a certified PQAS instructor for the state of Pennsylvania and a certified BLS CPR and First Aid instructor through the American Heart Association.

My husband, Andrew, and I reside in Schwenksville with our four wonderfully active little boys, Andrew (11), Matthew (10), Joshua (8) and Nicolas (6) and we spend most of our time out on the football field where my oldest 3 play for the Perkiomen Valley Vikings!  We also enjoy spending time doing various outdoor activities ranging from hiking the trails and exploring nature out at local state parks and farms.

When I have free time, which is rare, I enjoy cooking authentic Italian foods, reading almost anything from my favorite author, V C Andrews, and playing roller derby at Ringing Rocks.

Alyssa Stimson:

Hi, my name is Ms. Alyssa and I am from Lansdale. I enjoy playing piano, singing, bike riding, and playing with my dogs, Bella and Luna. I also enjoy traveling and have been to many places with my mom, dad, sister, and husband.

I graduated from Liberty University. I hope to one day pursue a master’s degree.

I enjoy seeing the children grow and learn. I love to create activities for children, which allows to enjoy learning. I like to see them exploring and to be creative. It’s great to see them having fun with educational activities.

Children are impacted by what they learn from a young age. The goal of teachers should be to guide children and provide them with skills to create lifelong learners. To provide them with knowledge that they will carry with them as they grow.

Ashley L.:

My name is Ms. Ash. I live right here in Souderton and I am the oldest of 3. I have always had a passion for drawing since I was a toddler. I actually had the chance to attend Tyler Art School one summer for two weeks on a college scholarship. I love photography and being around kids makes my heart happy.

I graduated from Pennridge High School in 2013 and then I went to Bucks County Community College and graduated with an AA degree in Interpersonal Psychology. I am currently attending Ashford University out of CA for my BS in Early Childhood Education: Pre-K-4.

Prior to joining AMC, I worked at Headstart for two years working with ages 3-5 year olds. I love working with children because I love watching the ways they use their creative imaginations and watching them grow.

Ashley C.:

Hello, I am Ms. Ashley. I am the oldest of 3 and have one brother and one sister.  I was born in Jacksonville, NC. I absolutely love to read and walk every day. After I graduated from high school I received my CDA and have worked in the child care field ever since. What I love about working with children is that they say the dandiest things, which makes me laugh.

Becca:

Hi, I’m Ms. Rebecca and I have worked here at All My Children Learning Center since 2008! I have worked with young children for many years before that.

I have my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. My favorite thing about working with kids is you never know what they are going to say or do next.

My room is always colorful and inviting to allow the children to feel a sense of comfort and care when they get to school in the morning. I love sign language and use it throughout the entire day in the classroom. The children love learning sign-language and sharing what they learn with their parents. Teaching is about embracing every child.

Ericka:

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I truly love children and enjoy helping them grow in many different ways.

Every day is a new adventure, never a boring moment. My classroom is always busy with art projects, learning a new letter of the week, playing outdoors, and interacting with other children. I love my Preschool Room and I hope you will too!

Jessica:

Hello, my name is Ms. Jessica. I live in Souderton with my family.  I love to swim and play sports in my free time.  I attended Souderton Area High School and went to Lycoming College.  I studied early childhood education for 3 years and graduated with my bachelor’s in psychology.  I also spent my last semester of college working at a daycare with ages 6 months to 6 years.

Children make my day better and they have a love for everyone and I love that children keep me young.  I think kids teach me more than I teach them.  I’m looking forward to a great year with my Older Toddler class!!

Joanne:

Hello, my name is Ms. Joanne.  I am a Wife, Mother, Aunt and Friend.  I have 3 wonderful, loving children Ashley, Billy and Jessica.

I have experience working with children from infants up to 8th grade for the last 20 years. In 2018 I received my CDA certification.

I really admire children’s endless energy, honesty, creativity and flexibility.  In my spare time I enjoy drawing, cooking, painting and running.  I am looking forward to getting to know how special each of the little ones are.  “It takes a Big Heart to shape Little Minds”

Kaitlyn:

Hello, my name is Ms. Kaitlyn. I come from a large tight knit loving family and grew up in Souderton. I am a hard-working artist. You can find some work I have done filling the halls of Caruso Brick Oven in Souderton!

I grew up in the Souderton School District and attended Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. I have a degree in Fine Arts.

I have worked with kids in a classroom setting since my senior year of high school. I have worked full-time since 2016 with infants through kindergarten age.

I love watching the kids grow. Kids can truly do anything and have the biggest imaginations. I think people tend to not give them enough credit!

Kate:

Hello, my name is Ms. Kate and I am proud to call myself an All My Children teacher and parent. I started at AMC in spring of 2016.

I grew up in Warrington with my parents and three siblings. I attended Temple University College of Education, graduating with a double major in education.

I always knew I wanted to work with children. At age twelve I started babysitting neighborhood children. In high school and college I worked as a youth group leader at my local church with students in Jr. High School. After graduating college I spent two years substitute teaching in Elementary and Middle School classrooms. Next, I entered the Early Childhood setting and never left. That was over ten years ago!

Lori:

Hello, my name is Ms. Lori. I am the Full Day Kindergarten teacher as well as the Education Director here at All My Children.  In my free time I enjoy reading, photography, spending time with friends and watching movies.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University and received my Master’s degree in Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction.  I have been a teacher for over 10 years.

Monica:

Hi!  My name is Ms. Monica.  My husband and I have been married for over 25 years and live in Hatfield. I have worked with infants and toddlers at AMC but prior to AMC I worked with Girl Scouts ages K-12. I also spent a lot of time volunteering in my daughters’ schools over the years.   I really enjoy doing art with the children and helping them develop their language skills through reading and singing.  I currently hold my CDA certificate for infants through toddlers. I am looking forward to going back to school to get my Associates in Early Education.

Stephanie:

Hi! My name is Ms. Stephanie.  I live in Souderton with my husband of over 20 years and our two boys who are both AMC Alumni.  In my free time, I like to read, watch sports and play board games with my family.  I have always enjoyed taking care of children starting with my younger sister and brother as well as helping with my little cousins.  I graduated from Souderton High School and currently hold my CDA in Preschool – Pre-Kindergarten education.  I am working toward earning my Associates in Early Childhood.  I think it is so amazing that we can offer parents a safe, warm, loving and educational place for them to take their children every day.  Knowing your children will be cared for by people who truly love what they do is the most important thing.

Tori:

My name is Victoria, or as the kids call me, Ms. Tori! I’m from Perkasie, and have a daughter named Scarlett who also attends AMC. Some of our favorite things to do are jam out to music, go for walks at the park, shopping, or curl up together at home watching our favorite movies.  I graduated from Pennridge High School, and have intentions of going for a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in the near future.  I’ve spent years since high school surrounded by children, from babysitting for families, children ages 3-11, and raising Scarlett.

I’ve always had the need to nurture inside of me, and once I had Scarlett, I quickly realized that its children I want to spend my life working with. Children are the sweetest and most delicate little souls we have in the world, and need to be handled with the best care. They’re our future, and I would love nothing more than to be a part of that growth.

Tara:

Hi, my name is Ms. Tara.  I am the oldest of 8 children.  I live in Green Lane and am a mother of 6, three boys & three girls.  I graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School then served in the United Stated Army for 8 years.  I then attended Tulsa Community College for nursing and have worked in ICU and Emergency rooms of Lehigh Valley Hospital for several years.  I also worked as a substitute teacher for grades 1st – 12th in the Sand Springs School District in Oklahoma.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family going hiking, camping, fishing and gardening.
